Isherwood's mission

HONG KONG'S top woman triathlete Kim Isherwood aims to repeat her 1993 win when she takes part in the Continental Micronesia Saipan long-course triathlon on Sunday.

Isherwood won the event - featuring a two-kilometre sea swim, 60-kilometre bike ride and a 15-kilometre run - two years ago but she is certain to face stiff competition from defending champion Debbie Hornsby of the United States.

Another American strongly fancied to do well is Heather Jorris, who was second at last month's Hong Kong International triathlon in which Isherwood came fifth.
