THE Seychelles has sold around 40 permits to Hong Kong people this year, enabling them to live on its paradise Indian Ocean islands, government officials said. The permits cost US$2,000 (HK$15,440) - on condition an applicant stays for at least five days a year and transfers US$20,000 into a local bank account.
