HKSC on freight course

THE Hong Kong Shippers' Council (HKSC) will hold a Comprehensive Certificate Course in Airfreight Operations from June 13 to August 10.

The course, which is conducted by experts in the field of air-freight, is ideal for junior and middle level executives involved in air cargo forwarding, import/export firms, manufacturing companies and airlines.

The course will consist of 16 sessions and cover topics like air cargo handling procedures, rules and regulations, rate calculation, handling of special cargo. There will also be a visit to the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited.

Lectures will be held in the evening in the Conference Room of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association Building in Central on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Classes will be conducted in Cantonese supplemented with English. Handouts and examinations are in English.

Certificates will be awarded to those who have attended at least 10 sessions and passed end of course examination.
