COMEDIAN and Hong Kong affairs adviser Michael Hui Koon-man is to help map out arts development policy.

Mr Hui, chairman of the Motion Picture Industry Association, is one of three new faces on the Arts Development Council.

Most other appointees are members of the Provisional Arts Development Council, to be formally established on June 1.

The move is seen as pacifying the film industry, angry at being left out of the provisional council.
