SOUTH AFRICA looked anything but potential Rugby World Cup winners last night as they stuttered to an unconvincing 21-8 win over Pool A opponents Romania.


Elsewhere, Western Samoa scored a 32-26 Pool B victory over Argentina to secure a place in the quarter-finals, while France beat Ivory Coast 54-18 in Pool D.
