The Stock Exchange is changing the rules on share registration fees and registration periods so that in addition to standard and bulk registration services, issuers may offer optional and expedited registration services.

Standard registration service fee per scrip will be $2.50 involving a 10-days registration period, optional registration service fee per scrip will be $3 for a six day registration period and an expedited registration service fee will be $20 per scrip for a three days registration period.

A fee of $2 will be charged for bulk registration service involving a six day registration period and a $5 per item per register to be charged for registration of legal documents and a fee of $200 for certificate replacement with a market value of $20,000 or less and $400 for those with a market value of more than $20,000.
