STAR TV wins design accolades

STAR TV's creative team has won nine of the industry's top accolades for television design excellence at the Broadcast Design Association's 17th annual awards in Washington DC.

Chosen from among more than 3,000 entries, STAR TV's designs claimed two gold, four silver and three bronze awards.

The Channel [V] symbol was honoured as the best international logo.

'This is testament to our creative ability under stress,' said Don Atyeo, general manager of Channel [V]. 'It is recognised as the fastest growing TV brand name in this region.' Executive producer Steve Grieder was additionally honoured for his contribution with a special Marketer of the Year award from TV World magazine. Channel [V] also picked up three silver and two bronze awards.
