Bear necessities . . . Dave Parry holds on to a load of teddy bears, in Pueblo, Colorado, US. He is taking part in a volunteer programme called 'Helping Hugs', which provides the bears for local policing agencies, hospital emergency rooms and crisis shelters to help comfort frightened children.
