WITH AIDS being the hot-button issue of our time, catwalk diva Linda Evangelista was all too happy to fly into town and strut her stuff for the cause at the Grand Hyatt ballroom.

The high-society event, organised for AIDS Concern by Jennifer Tose, Charles Yang and Andrew Yuen, incorporated the final of the Davidoff Elite Model Look 1995 - won by Vanessa Yeung, 23.

Among the celebrities modelling clothes made by local designers for the night was Alice Patten.
