Riviera spoiled by foul air

I RESIDE in one of the most livable housing estates in Hong Kong - Riviera Gardens in Tsuen Wan district. We have a swimming pool, basketball court, soccer pitch, tennis courts, a beautiful garden and playground for children, and a private club with various facilities.

But there is one problem. The walkway that connects Riviera Gardens to Tsuen Wan ferry terminal always stinks because the rubbish that is thrown into the sea gathers there and during high tide is deposited next to the walkway.

Many of these items give off an offensive smell.

And despite the natural and healthy surroundings, people have to breathe this polluted air when jogging or going to the ferry.

I would appreciate if the proper authorities could do something about this.
