TAKING a break from his usual pastime of building highways and power stations, Gordon Wu (by all accounts a keen boy scout in his adolescent years!) wallowed in nostalgia when he inaugurated a bricks and mortar tribute to those days.
At a cocktail reception held at the BP International Hotel managed by Wu's Mega Hotels - BP International proudly boasts to being the 'only hotel in Kowloon Park' - the tycoon cut the ribbon to open the Gordon Wu Hall.
The 1,200-seat multi-purpose hall - in what is now fast becoming the centre of scouting activity in the territory - will cater for exhibitions, functions, gala dinners, concerts and even the occasional scouting sing-along.
