Transport under attack

COMPLAINTS about public transport rose by 11 per cent in the 12 months up to the end of March - with taxis accounting for nearly half of them, according to the Transport Complaints Unit.

The unit, set up under the Transport Advisory Committee, released its annual report for last year yesterday.

A total of 14,299 complaints were received, an increase of 5.9 per cent.
