Keyboard catch for Jazz Club

TOP local funkateer Mickey Smith has secured the cosmic talents of the legendary Lonnie Liston Smith for four seismic shows at the Jazz Club.
Starting Wednesday night, Lonnie will sizzle the keyboards with his own eclectic style of dance jazz beats along with special guest guitarist Tony Remy.
His shows get under way about 10pm. Tickets are $250.
Tonight: Cafe Deco features the Victoria Jazz Band from about 9pm.
Infradig have resurfaced for a reformation at the Fringe Club. Be there from around 9pm.
Those loveable lads the Bastards are back in the Wanch with a backdrop of punk-rock from 10pm. Guitarist Dan LaVelle performs contemporary Latin-jazz tunes at Tables 88 in Stanley from 9pm.
French jazz pianist Christophe Lier plays the Piano Bar in the Rickshaw Club from 9pm.
Riotous reggae band Captain Mabullah are in Judgement AD from 10.30pm.
Tomorrow: Six-piece American dance band Fire and Desire will kick up the party atmosphere in the New China Max. Be there from around 9pm.
The Warehouse Project has scored the hot indie talents of Siren, In-Between and Black Box for their regular Saturday night live music session. From 8.30pm in the old Aberdeen Police Station.
Bhudisattva will start the evening acoustically at the Wanch from about 7pm, followed by blues-rock favourites Flash Harry playing more past classics at 10pm.
