FORMER Hong Kong idol Gary Moore has received a rap over the knuckles from the Stipendiary Stewards at Taipa, writes Robin Parke.

Moore appeared at an inquiry into his riding of Plus Fame's Star in the third event on Saturday and was warned that he should ride his mounts out in such a manner as to leave no room for query. Veteran rider Philip Waldron also appeared before the Stewards. He was given the benefit of the doubt for his handling of Southern Unicorn in the day's main event. Trainer Terry K.Y. Tse also appeared at the inquiry. Local rider S.T. Chu was suspended for three days for careless riding.
