TYCOON Albert Yeung Sau-shing denied suggesting that a witness due to testify against him on charges of intimidation should be forced into not giving evidence.
Yeung, 50, chairman of the Emperor Group, denies asking businessman Jacky Man Lun-chi to arrange a rival businessman to exert influence on the alleged victim, Michael Lam Yih-jiun.
The allegation arose out of a meeting between the tycoon, Mr Man and a business associate, David Chan Liu-chuen, in the small hours of January 11.
Yeung denies attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Yesterday, Western Court was shown a video recording of Yeung's second meeting with Mr Man on the evening of the same day.
The video was shot in the basement of Yeung's house in Repulse Bay by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), after the tycoon had given them details about the earlier meeting.
