In the face of global competition, Kung Long Batteries Industrial is staying ahead of the game by serving as a strategic partner to its customers, not just as another power supplier. Taiwan's professional lead-acid battery manufacturer has established a "customer-first" culture within its organisation and has instilled quality consciousness among its employees. Kung Long has also gained widespread recognition for its proactive approach in dealing with clients.

"Customers prefer to work with us because we can meet their specific requirements and delivery schedules," says Y.M. Lee, chairman of Kung Long. "We make time for client consultations and focus on after-service."

Kung Long has a strong commitment to research and development, recognising that continual improvements in the performance and lifespan of its lead-acid batteries will ensure its competitive strength. Working towards innovation, the company has collaborated with the Materials Research Laboratories of the Industrial Technology Research Institute to develop deep-cycle sealed lead-acid batteries and electric scooter batteries.

Kung Long's lead-acid batteries have various applications, including in starting batteries for motorcycles, fire alarms, electric wheelchairs, uninterruptible power supply units and telecommunication base stations. Noted for their recyclable properties, these batteries are touted as environmentally friendly power solutions.

Kung Long has established a global supply base with clients in the United States, Asia and Europe.

Unlike many Taiwanese companies that chose to build production bases on the mainland in pursuit of lower manufacturing costs, Kung Long opted to lay down its roots in Vietnam. The company has two operational factories in the country - one in the Ben Luc district and the other in Duc Hoa. With its operations in Vietnam,

Kung Long is able to offer high-quality yet competitively priced lead-acid batteries that assure customer satisfaction. Kung Long continues its expansion in Asia and should easily attract potential partners. "Our company is strategically located and is equipped with solid business management practices and a strong, customer-oriented service network," Lee says.
