Rising production costs, coupled with stringent environmental regulations, are changing the textile manufacturing environment in China. Industry players are focusing more on producing strong, innovative and functional textile designs that are compliant with environmental standards. Leading the cutting-edge fabric manufacturing pack, Honmyue Enterprise is expanding its operations to serve manufacturers in Asia and worldwide.
Honmyue fabrics are used for various lifestyle and industrial items, such as luggage, apparel and home furnishing, and as material for the sports and medical fabric sectors. Producing exquisite and superior-quality fabrics, Honmyue is a trusted supplier to some of the world's biggest brands, including EASTPAK, Samsonite and Eagle Creek.
"We have a library full of knowledge about textiles and our strength is in weaving design," says Cosmos Yeh, marketing manager. "We created a research and development team 15 years ago to continuously come up with more value-added solutions."
Adopting a vertically integrated production system, Honmyue's state-of-the-art plants located in Taiwan and on the mainland house the company's environmentally sound technical processing units. ISO 14001- and Bluesign-certified machines are used in the weaving, dyeing and finishing, coating and lamination processes daily. The 44-year-old company is also one of the first manufacturers to use recycled polyester for luggage fabric.
With a myriad of top-quality fabrics made from high-grade materials under its belt, Honmyue closely works with clients to meet all of their textile requirements. It is also harnessing its surgical gown and hospital bedding product line to gain more ground in the medical industry.
Keen on tapping companies in Asia, the United States and Europe with manufacturing bases in Asia, Honmyue participates in various trade shows. It is strengthening its network of agents to penetrate international markets, particularly Indonesia.
"We are fabric specialists," Yeh says. "We have the technical and professional know-how to serve any type of textile need and provide solutions."
