Phang sings note of thanks

THE entertaining 'Man Yan Bong Voluntary Service Affairs Campaign - Cass Phang in Concert' was held at the Hong Kong Coliseum recently.

The concert, jointly organised by Ultimate 903 of Commercial Radio and the Agency for Volunteer Service, was a good opportunity for Phang to further develop her music career in the territory.

It was the singer's debut concert.

Phang took the opportunity to thank the volunteers who had taken part in the Man Yan Bong programme for their contribution to the community.

The singer sang many of her classics, including Run to You, Love is Difficult to Control, All Because of You and Neverending Novel.

The song bird charmed the audience with her sweet and smooth voice and drew loud cheers from them.

Apart from performing her latest hits, Phang also did some dance routines. Guest performer Jeffrey Chang added colour to the concert, hosted by popular DJs Wyman Wong and Madam Nancy.

Chang, in addition to singing a duet with Phang, also sang two of his hits - Don't Tell Him and Love is Like the Tides .

Although it was Phang's first concert, she did not show a single trace of nervousness. However, the sentimental singer broke into tears as she was very touched by the enthusiasm of the audience.

'I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents for all their love and encouragement and my fans for all their support,' Phang said.

'If I didn't have your love and support, I would not be standing on the stage performing today.'
