Buyers pounce on bargains at Robinson Place
THE 30 cut-price apartments offered in Phase 8 of Swire Properties' Robinson Place development in Mid-Levels were snapped up by eager buyers yesterday, the company says.
A Swire official said the company originally had planned to sell only 24 units on yesterday's sale at an average price of $6,770 per square foot.
Buyers completing deals by the end of November are given a two per cent discount, effectively cutting the price to $6,634 per square foot.
Strong buying response encouraged the company to release six more apartments, which were also snapped up by home-buyers yesterday, the official said. Selling prices for the extra units were slightly higher than the offer on the 24 apartments, she said.
Swire has no plans to put more Robinson units on the market at present.
More than 40 buyers queued outside Swire Properties' sales office at Pacific Place for yesterday's sale of cut-price flats at the Robinson Place project.
Following the sale, about 31 units in the development remain unsold.
Meanwhile, Wheelock Properties yesterday disclosed the price list of the second batch sale of 178 units to be offered for sale in its Parc Royale project at Sha Tin.
Selling price is pitched at $4,262 per square foot.
