The activities were interesting and helped to improve our English. I found them new and exciting! The most exciting game was called 'Taboo'. It was a fun game in which a student gave hints of a word for others to guess.

The game helped us better express ourselves in English and also enriched our vocabulary.

We all paid attention and the winner was awarded a prize.

In another game - 'Let's Make A Commercial' - we were divided into groups and each group had to design a television commercial.

This activity helped to improve our organisational skills and help us co-operate and work with each other. It was good training for me and my schoolmates.

We were also asked to write a composition titled 'My Dream in Life'.

We all wrote interesting articles about our dreams and then Todd corrected our mistakes. He also taught us how to split up a sentence to make it read better.

He circled words in a sentence which we should stress and taught us how to speak with the right intonation and rhythm. It was a very interesting and useful activity indeed.

In conclusion, I think the camp was a valuable lesson and we all benefitted from it.

We were able to practise our spoken English and the camp helped us build up confidence to speak English in public.

English is not as difficult as you think. It depends on whether you are willing to listen, read and speak. If you just stand there and remain silent, you will never learn.

English camps are an effective way to motivate students to learn English. They also help to widen your horizon.
