Problem

YOUR correspondent Mr R.M. Jenkins complained that he was not able to get a free beer as promised when travelling in first class on one of our Jetfoils ('Small beer', South China Morning Post, November 11).

His letter highlighted a problem with some of our staff whose attitude seems to be that their own business competes with the requirement to provide various free amenities to our first class passengers. The company is determined to correct these problems and Mr Jenkins' letter was timely.

I would very much like to know the departure time of the voyage that led to his complaint. I hope that Mr Jenkins would be kind enough to help by providing me with this information at phone 2859-3111, or fax 2559-6471.
