ELEVEN former Kowloon Walled City residents were yesterday evicted from their year-old makeshift huts on a pavement outside the $60 million Walled City Park.

A woman who refused to move was dragged from the hut while a man attempting to attack Lands Department workers was taken to a police station. He was later released.

Their huts on a 15-metre stretch of pavement were torn down in accordance with a Crown Land notice. They had been holding out for more compensation.
