Discovery Bay site about to pay off
NEW World Development is poised to cash in on more development profits through launches of apartments at two residential projects in about a month.
The two properties are the 234,494-square-foot housing project at the corner of Lyttelton Road and Babington Path, Mid-Levels, and the phase 4C development at Discovery Bay, comprising a total gross floor area of 363,000 sq ft.
At yesterday's AGM director and general manager Stewart Leung Chi-kin said the Discovery Bay phase 4C development would be put up for public sale when New World gained its occupation permit, expected to be granted by the Government within a month.
The development rights were bought by New World from HKR International's 50 per cent-owned subsidiary Hong Kong Resort Co years ago.
