A HANJIN Heavy Industries-built LNG carrier, the Hanjin-Pyongtaek, has been chosen as the world's best ship for 1995.

The world's three leading maritime magazines - Marine Log and Maritime Reporter in the United States, and Britain's Naval Architects - selected the Hanjin-Pyongtaek as the most advanced ship in the world, a Hanjin spokesman said.

The LNG carrier was recognised as the best in the categories of technology, design and capacity.
