A TODDLER was trapped for 20 minutes between the rungs of the ladder to his bunk bed. Hon Ka-ho, 21/2, became jammed in the hole measuring about 15 cm in diameter while his 34-year-old mother was in the kitchen of their Ngau Tau Kok home.

  A 60-year-old neighbour was unable to free Ka-ho with a saw so firemen were called. He suffered a bump on his forehead.
