Man of the moment Riccardo Tisci's dark, sensual designs for Givenchy come straight from the heart, writes Jing Zhang.
KPS video stores seem to be well run. Their shops are always well stocked and their prices competitive.
However there is one little thing that spoils this. Their policy on price increases.
I have just bought a CD that clearly shows the cost as $138 on both the price sticker and the bar code sticker.
Yet when I went to pay, I was told the price was now $158 and was bluntly asked whether I wanted it or not.
I mentioned that the price was clearly shown and was told that if I wanted it, I must pay the new price. When I asked why they did not show the right price they said it was just the computer.
I buy many CDs and this happens quite often. Such instances and the way the staff handle complaints spoil the image that KPS seems to have spent so long building up.
I can't say I'll never go back to a KPS store, they are too good for that. But I will probably visit a store like HMV first.
