CHEER leaders and people of different nationalities will enliven the Duty-Free Shoppers (DFS) float during the parade.

Several employees of DFS will be dressed in the national costumes of China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.

'We attract employees who enjoy serving customers of many different nationalities. These are the kind of people who have made Hong Kong such a great destination for travellers from all over the world,' said Shirley Wong, vice-president of human resources of DFS.

Since 1985, DFS has welcomed more than 30 million visitors to its central and airport stores - a sizeable portion of the total number of visitors over the past decade.
