Financing for Wuhan plant

CHINA International Iron and Steel Investment Corp yesterday signed a US$29 million term-loan facility in Hongkong to finance the construction of an extension at its steel plant in Wuhan.

Arranged and lead managed by Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Industrial Bank of Japan and Mitsubishi Bank, the facility is a Japanese tax-spared loan with a tenor of seven years and semi-annual repayments.
