Some quiet entertainment

Mime is theatre of gesture without words. If you have never seen mime before, then go to the little park outside the Hong Kong Arts Centre every Friday this month where the Mime Touch Theatre, Hong Kong's only mime company, offers some intriguing entertainment.

Still Bodies - April 12: With limited body movement and muscle tensing, the performers reveal another world deep within.

Wordless Mouths - April 19: Soundlessly, surrounded by a noisy environment, the performers sway bodies to evolving rhythms.

Trap - April 26: It's a game - the audience is 'trapped' between the lines and spaces of the small park. If you don't want to lose, or be used, do something fast! Playground - May 3: In case you have forgotten how entertaining an instrument your body can be, see this show - and have great fun.

The performances take place in the park every Friday night from 8.30 pm to 10 pm. For details call 2582 0203 or 2582 0202.
