Analysts tied for rankings
ING Barings and Jardine Fleming Securities have topped Institutional Investors annual ranking of equity analysts. The two houses tied for first place, matching last year's result.
Credit Lyonnais Securities (Asia) was third, followed by Crosby Securities and SBC Warburg, which tied for fourth.
The survey for Asia ex-Japan covers 13 countries, dividing analysts by industry and investment category as well as economics and overall strategy.
The magazine also put together an ideal research team for the region including Japan, led by ING Barings Hong Kong-based equity strategist Alan Butler-Henderson.
