Grand reunion . . . a 62nd birthday bash for Chow Che-hung at the Peninsula hotel attracted a guest list of top civil servants, leading lawyers and business-community moguls.

All the guests had known the former police officer for 35 years and many had not met each other for half a lifetime. Mr and Mrs Chow and David Chow (below), and Mr and Mrs Cheung Chi-shum were among those partying to live music and reliving the good old days.
