Competition hits Benelux

B-share firm Shenzhen Benelux Enterprise has seen net profits fall 28.64 per cent to $9.9 million as competition hit 3.5-inch floppy disk prices and management costs soared 40 per cent.

The firm, which has 313 B-share holders, saw turnover rise 16.45 per cent at $234.75 million in the year to December 31, 1995. Earnings per share were $0.20.
