Busy week for juniors

It is a busy week for Hong Kong's top juniors who will be taking part in a highly-competitive swimming meet as well as a top tennis tournament.


Hong Kong's top age group swimmers will be among 310 swimmers competing in the Asian Age Group Meet.


Our top juniors will be showing their mettle against tough age group swimmers from Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Okinawa in the meet to be held over the weekend at the Pao Yue Kong Swimming Pool in Aberdeen. Organiser Mantas Swimming Club said more than 1,800 entries had been received.


Back on dry land, Michael Wu, Ian Pang and Ivan Yeh are representing Hong Kong in the NTT Junior Tennis Asia-Oceania qualifying tournament which started at the Hong Kong Sports Institute.


The top 14 and under juniors from 14 countries are playing in the qualifying event sanctioned by the International Tennis Federations (ITF).
