Protect parks

Why are the authorities ignoring the following activities in Plover Cove Country Park: Formula One-type racing by cars and motorbikes on Sundays between 6am and 10am.

Reckless driving and driving that is over the speed limit every day by large vans and heavy goods vehicles.

Access being taken through the park by trucks and heavy goods vehicles.

Hong Kong needs to protect the country parks so residents and tourists have quiet places to relax and enjoy the environment. We should not be terrorised by lunatic drivers who are taking advantage of the lax controls. Access to all country parks should be controlled by permits which would be issued to legitimate users.
