IT hasn't been much of a season for trainer Neville Begg and stable jockey Robert Thompson but the Year of the Rooster should begin brightly for them, courtesy of improving Chiu Chow Warrior in the second event. The sprinter was produced for the first timein Class Five and duly hacked up down the straight course disposing effortlessly of Clean Them Up in a competitive time of 58.5 seconds. Clean Them Up has gone on to score since and is not without claims in a later race tomorrow. Begg put Chiu Chow Warrioraway after the October 31 run and then the virus brought about the enforced halt to racing. However, Chiu Chow Warrior has clearly enjoyed the lay-off as he showed in a trial last week at Sha Tin where he was never in any way extended to win on the equitrack. Thom
