New World Development Co expects to release more units of Coastline Villa in Discovery Bay for sale today if the first batch of 50 units sell out immediately.
Until yesterday, sales manager Barbara Ho said the company had registered 150 prospective buyers, some of whom had queued up at its sales office as early as Monday.
Assistant sales manager Akan Wong Ho-yin said: 'If the registered buyers are still interested in our project when the first 50 units are taken up, we will consider putting up more for sale.
'The final decision will depend on [today's] sales.' The first 50 units are being offered at an average of $3,960 a square foot, or $5.7 million to $9.5 million a unit.
Buyers will have to pay 3.5 per cent more if they opt for the top-up mortgage scheme.
Standard unit size ranges from 1,471 to 1,560 sq ft. Duplex flats are 2,174 sq ft.
