The VLCC World Eminence was anchored off the Nigerian port of Forcados, awaiting repairs after its condenser broke down causing the engine room to flood, the vessel's agent said.

Once the damage was assessed, the 261,729-deadweight-tonne (dwt) vessel, which is laden with 126,000 tonnes of Forcados crude, would be taken by tug to either Lagos or Ivory Coast for repairs, he said. It would then continue to the Mediterranean for unloading.
