Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams - 18 Til I Die (A&M) It's hard to believe that this is only the second studio album in nine years from the calculating Canadian.

A parallel career in penning mawkish ballads for movies is what has made him a multi-millionaire. And judging by 18 Til I Die, Hollywood can have him. This is music for morons.

The titles alone should be warning enough - take the first single The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You or (I Wanna Be) Your Underwear.

The positively lame We're Gonna Win, is dedicated to 'Chelsea FC and all sports fans . . . who hate to lose'. Stirring stuff.

And the music, although slickly produced, makes little attempt to move on from 1991's Waking Up The Neighbours.

On the positive side his band is tight, but technique counts for little when you've as much soul as an Interwood Marketing jingle.
