Air cadets seek potential high-flyers

Youths aged between 13 and 18 who wish to become high flyers can join the Recruit Training Course organised by the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (HKACC) next month.

The course will include various subjects such as elementary aviation knowledge, footdrills, leadership exercises and field training.

Trainees who pass the course will then become basic cadets.

Applicants must have at least finished Form Two, speak and read Chinese and English, be willing to serve the community, and to receive disciplinary training.

The HKACC, set up 25 years ago, is an aviation-orientated, disciplined, youth uniform group.

It aims to provide young people with initial aviation training and help them develop leadership skills and social awareness through community service.
