Working with children

Mature students who like working with children are invited to join a volunteer training programme organised by the Hok Yau Club.

The course will teach child psychology and communication techniques, and allow participants to practise the skills they learn.

The first phase of the course, which began this week, continues till July 27 and is held on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. A training camp will be held on July 19 and 20.

In phase two, participants are required to take part in social services to try out their skills.
