Banco Central Hispano (BCH), Spain's fourth-largest commercial bank, will lead a syndicated loan for US$175 million to finance construction of a coal-fired power plant in China.

The plant, located in Shandong province, will cost a total $576 million.

BCH is helping to finance steam generators manufactured by Foster Wheeler Energia, the Spanish unit of the US construction and engineering firm.
