A mainland man was cleared of attempted forgery and attempting to criminally intimidate Police Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on.

Yang Guang, 55, a part-time writer, merchant and former engineer, had denied both charges and was cleared by magistrate Peter Line at Eastern Court, who found the Crown failed to prove criminal intention.
