There was a spot of excitement at the Omni Hong Kong Hotel on Friday as a figure swathed in black lurked around the Centenary Room searching for a long-time foe.

It was the caped crusader himself - Batman - in a rubber suit that was nothing like the original.

He found himself upstaged once again by long-time foe, the Riddler, this time in the figure of shapely Diana Peng Dan (above, left) ex-mainland dancer who has found a new career in Hong Kong as a sex siren.

Naturally, press photographers were more interested in getting a shot of Peng's cleavage than the rubberised hero.

Obviously, the Cable TV-sponsored sight was a little much for the waiters who were fussing around serving food and drinks, because the sound of falling trays was evident in the corridors.
