Police slammed for trivial prosecution

A magistrate criticised the police for spending taxpayers' money on trivial matters. Alan Wright, in Eastern Court, was angered when a shop owner was brought to court because warning notices on his laser discs were too small.

Lee Kin-wing, 21, of Devon House, Quarry Bay, was bound over 'to reflect the triviality of the matter'.
