Games girl in positive drugs test

Drugs hit the headlines in Atlanta last night when Cuban judo silver medallist Estela Rodriguez tested positive.


However, she will keep her medal, the International Olympic Committee said.


Traces of the diuretic furocemide were found in samples submitted after the heavyweight competition.


It is used for slimming, although it can also be used to hide the presence of steroids.


'She has been given a warning but we do not consider this a doping case. The traces were not of a high enough level,' the IOC said.
