Japanese shipyards have full order books for the next two years, says the Japan Ship Exporters' Association.

The yards are in their healthiest position for years, which an export order book up to the end of May of 371 vessels of almost 14 million gross tonnes. New orders in the financial year to March 31 totalled 265 vessels of 8.2 million gross tonnes.
