A British tourist attacked by sharks while swimming in the Gulf of Aqaba was saved by dolphins.

Martin Richardson, 29, was swimming with a group of dolphins just off the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula when he was attacked.

The dolphins leaped in the air and smacked the water with their tails and flippers while circling the injured man to fend off further attacks.
