Technician hurt in chemical spill

A 33-year-old technician, surnamed Wong, was in United Christian Hospital after a chemical spill at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.


Mr Wong was working in a biology laboratory when he dropped a bottle containing dead fish specimens preserved in a solution of diluted formaldehyde, a university spokesman said.
