A shopowner died early this morning after being shot in the head at a Shamshuipo restaurant.

The 35-year-old Vietnamese, surnamed Ngo, was eating with his wife at a dai pai dong when a gunman walked in and shot him in the head. The incident occurred just before 11 pm at the corner of Kwelin Street and Yee Kuk street. Police cordoned off the area after the gunman fled towards the MTR.
