Boiler repairs long overdue
There has not been any hot water in the male changing room showers at Morrison Hill Swimming Pool, in Wan Chai, since it re-opened on July 1.
This is despite the fact that the pool was closed for nearly two months, from May 1 to June 30, for its annual renovation. As I recall, the hot water supply was intermittent during the summer months of 1995.
I hope that the supply of hot water will resume in the near future. This will be particularly important once the weather turns cooler.
I would be grateful if the amenities officer could comment on the delay in fixing the boiler and ensure that the necessary repairs are undertaken as soon as possible.
And in future, I would hope that any repairs that are needed are undertaken during the pool's annual closure, when other renovations take place.
